Halloween Jewelry

I needed to take a small break from painting to make some fun Halloween jewelry for some gifts. My go to company for jewelry making is Craft Fantastic. I learned about this company several years ago at the Michigan Great Lakes Megameet. I love these weekend shopping/crafting/crop events because you can immerse yourself in all types of crafts. Most booths have demos or you can sign up for classes to try something new.

What I like about Craft Fantastic is that they use jewelers grade glass for their pieces. The process is extremely user friendly. They also offer kits so trying something new is so simple.

I started with 2 different kits. First was with black bases. Craft Fantastic kits come with fun pictures which you mount to jewelers grade glass with their glaze/glue. After it dries, you trim the excess paper then affix the glass piece to your jewel tray using super sticky dots. They create your pieces by connecting.

So you can see where I've affixed the glass to the pictures on the left. And I have some already trimmed and set into the trays on the bottom right. Typically, I use 2 pair of needle nose pliers to work the pieces together with jump rings. When you buy kits, you have EVERYTHING in the kit you need except the pliers & glues. But all that can be purchased on the site as well.

Here are the black based pieces.

Finally here are the other kit pieces. The kits did come with the fun charms but also can be bought separately on the site. Be sure to scroll

Try something new!
